Welcome to Cat’s Track Episode 96, with guest Paul Crawford.

Paul Crawford is a professional engineer and has over 30 years of experience leading business operations and technology development.

He is a graduate of the University of Calgary with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists, and Geophysicists of Alberta (APEGA) and holds Journeyman Red Seal Machinist and Welder Certificates.

Paul is the inventor / co-inventor on seven patents and has held senior management positions within several different industry sectors.

His current position is Chief Executive Officer with NorthPoint Technical Services. Headquartered in Calgary, AB, NorthPoint provides new motor sales, and engineering and repair services for motors, generators, and other industrial rotating equipment. Paul is focused on positioning the company for long-term profitable growth and ensuring the success of NorthPoint’s customers.

Prior to joining NorthPoint, Paul was President and Chairman of the Board of Solex Thermal Science Inc., the pioneer and world leader in the science of heating, cooling, and drying bulk solids. Under his leadership, he guided Solex to win the 2016 and 2017 Alberta Export Award for Clean Technology and 2017 Exporter of the Year Award
