Welcome to Cat’s Track Episode 78, with guest Lisa Wells.

Lisa Dixon–Wells has been working in school systems across Canada since 1990. After completing her M.Ed in Educational Psychology (1997), Lisa’s focus has been on Bully Prevention and Mental Health. As the founder of the Dare to Care program, her work has focused on early prevention and intervention in schools and in 2017, Lisa expanded the program to work with Canadian amateur sports. In 2019, Lisa received the University of Calgary Arch Award for Community Commitment.

Lisa was a member of the Canadian National Swim Team in her youth and was a world champion Highland Dancer. As an adult, she has accumulated 14 World Masters swimming titles and was inducted into the University of Calgary’s Sports Hall of Fame in 2015.
