Welcome to Cat’s Track Episode 30, with guest Kathy Osterland.

Kathy is the Director of Corporate Services for NorthPoint Technical Services in Calgary, Alberta. She manages the Human Resources, IT, and Marketing departments for their national operations. She holds a CPHR and SHRM – SP designation. Her educational background includes a BAdmin in HR, and studies in psychology and computer sciences.

Kathy is driven by creating efficiency and automation along with helping people realize their potential. A guiding thought in her personal people development strategy is that people are stronger and more capable than they may think. Throughout her career Kathy has had inspiration from people that have worked for her and some fantastic leaders and mentors. This has fostered her need to do the same for others.

Kathy has helped the organizations she’s worked for get into the – more efficient – digital age. This encompasses strategies for IT, Marketing and HR processes and management, along with process development assistance in other departments.

Outside of work Kathy cherishes her family and friends time. She loves competitive sports and is looking forward to the reopening of these sport events.
