David is an entrepreneur and philanthropist. His activities of the last few years include the re-development and opening of a 35 suite affordable seniors housing project which he and his spouse Kelsey worked on. Between major projects, David gives back through volunteerism which has included founding and chairing the Hearts and Hammers society providing free renovations for those with mobility challenges and economic need. He is currently active in forestry reform supporting – animal habitat, biodiversity, and protection of the last remaining 35,000 hectares of primary old-growth forest in British Columbia.
