Welcome to Cat’s Track Episode 13, with guest Shondell Sabad.

Shondell Sabad, CFA has worked in the commodity industry since 1988. He is currently the CFO for a mining investment company. In this role Shondell manages all company operations including leading the exploration programs, reporting to regulators, legal, financing, deal structuring and day-to-day operations. Previously he was head of Crude Oil Options trading at TD Energy and prior to this held various trading roles at Sempra Energy, Mirant America’s Energy Trading, and TransCanada Energy. Shondell spent 9 years at Shell Canada where he worked in various marketing, analytical, financial and trading roles. Shondell began his his career at Infotech Manitoba, an IT consulting company, a passion he still holds today.

Shondell has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Finance (HONS), is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charter-holder and a Past President of the Calgary CFA Society. Mr. Sabad has served as a board member for public, private and volunteer boards.
