Start-ups and building business in general are for the over ambitious, slightly insane and for people who don’t really like to sleep. It’s passion, vision and execution all rolled into one day. It’s exhausting, regularly terrifying and often is filled with stress, tears and feeling of inadequacy – and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Alina has been building business her entire career. From buying her father’s local safety business in 2008, and then turning it into Canada’s largest safety company. Then selling it in 2015 to Yardstick Software, then exiting fully in January 2019 to pursue her next business, The Harvest Hub. She is not one that lacks any drive, ambition, passion or vision. Maybe a little patience….
