Gerald Chipeur, Q.C., practices business and administrative law in Canada as a member of the Law Societies of Alberta and British Columbia. He provides senior counsel and advocacy on public and private law matters.
He serves indigenous, provincial, and municipal governments and their agencies. In addition, he provides representation for public policy oriented businesses, professional associations and charities as they interact with government.
In addition to his law practice, Gerry serves as Honorary Consul of Korea with jurisdiction for Alberta.
He advises associations, businesses and professionals on organization and governance, administrative hearings and judicial review matters, and questions of membership and discipline. As well, he provides counsel regarding anti-corruption and integrity rules governing lobbying, conflict of interest and politically exposed persons.
In the field of health law, he advises health systems, hospitals, universities, research ethics boards, health professionals and professional regulatory bodies. Public and private sector clients rely on his counsel regarding health law, privacy and ethics.
