Welcome to Cat’s Track Episode 36, with guest Kim Titus.
Kim Titus is known as a connector, a team and relationship builder, and has an eye for opportunity with an amazing entrepreneurial spirit. Her experience includes education through the Early Childhood Education Program at Mount Royal College, and over 30 years as an administrator in various sectors including Oil & Gas, Consumer Goods, and Not-For-Profit. An active volunteer in her community, Kim has worked with Big Brothers & Sisters Airdrie, Bethany Care, Airdie Minor Hockey as President, Hockey Alberta, and Airdrie Little League. Since 2016, Kim has acted at the Chair of Thumbs Up Foundation.
Kim started Thumbs Up as a result of her youngest son Braden’s suicide September 12, 2015. Braden’s suicide highlighted fragmentations and gaps within the current framework of our systems. Thumbs Up advocates positive change for mental health and addiction, and their Mission is to create a Zero Suicide Model.
